HomeMy WebLinkAbout1968-040 CCR1 1 Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 68 -40 RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF T.H. 152 SOUTH OF T.H. 100 WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Highways has prepared prelim- inary plans for the improvement of a part of Trunk Highway Number 129, renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 152, within the corporate limits of the City of Brooklyn Center from 52nd Avenue North, southerly to the Minneapolis City limits; and WHEREAS, said preliminary plans are on file in the office of the Department of Highways, Saint Paul, Minnesota, being marked, labeled, and identified as Layout No. 2B,'S.P.2741- 07/2742 -05 (T.H. 152 =129) from Upton Avenue North in Minneapolis to 52nd Avenue North in Brooklyn Center; and WHEREAS, copies of said preliminary plans as so marked, labeled and identified are also on file in the office of the City Clerk; and WHEREAS, the term "said preliminary plans" as hereinafter used in the body of this resolution shall be deemed and intended to mean, refer to, and to incorporate the preliminary plans as in the foregoing recitals particularly identified and described; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that said preliminary plans for the improvement of Trunk Highway Number 129, renumbered Trunk Highway Number 152, within the limits of the City of Brooklyn Center be and hereby are approved. APPROVED: February 5, 1968 Date The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
