HomeMy WebLinkAbout1968-042 CCRMember John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 68 -42 RESOLUTION DESIGNATING CERTAIN TAX FORFEITED LAND IN THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER TO BE USED FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES WHEREAS, there is situated within the boundaries of the City of Brooklyn Center and the County of Hennepin certain tax forfeited land; and WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center desires to obtain the said land for public purposes: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be instructed to make application for conveyance of tax forfeited lands as herein described and further, that the Mayor and City Manager be authorized to sign such application for conveyance. The land is described as follows: Plat 89034, Parcel 5000 North 230 7/10 ft. of West 175 ft. of the East 1,050 ft. of Southwest 1/4 of Northeast 1/4, except highway. Sect. 34, T. 119, R. 21, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Plat 89034, Parcel 7010 North 230 7/10 ft. of West 75 ft. of East 775 ft. of Southwest 1/4 of Northeast 1/4, except highway. Sect. 34, T. 119, R. 21, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Plat 89103, Parcel 315 That part of Lot 3 lying East of Hipp's 4th Addition and North of Hipp's 5th Addition. Plat 90070, Parcel 5000 Lot 23, Twin Lake Park Addition Plat 90081, Parcel 5310 That part of Outlot 1 lying South of the North 84 feet thereof Twin Lake Woods 2nd Addition. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg and Howard Heck; and the following voted against the same: none whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
