RESOLUTION NO. 68 -50
introduced the following resolution
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED
STREET SURFACING IMPROVEMENT PROTECT NO. 1968 -30
WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an improvement
consisting of the following:
1968 -30 Street Surfacing on Aldrich Avenue North from 59th
Avenue to approximately 357 feet south of centerline 58th
Avenue; 58th Avenue North from approximately 165 feet west of
centerline Aldrich Avenue to approximately 165 feet east of
centerline Aldrich Avenue.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a preliminary report advising
that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it can be constructed at
an estimated cost of $8,820. 0 0
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by
Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes.
2. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be held
at the City Hall in the City on Monday, the 25thday of March, 1968, at
8 :05 o'clock P. M. Central Standard Time, and the Clerk shall publish
notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publication in the
official newspaper of the City.
3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement is as
follows:
ALL LOTS AND PARCELS ABUTTING THE ABOVE DESCRIBED STREETS.
4. This proposed improvement shall be designated Street Surfacing
Improvement Project No. 1968 -30.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck, and
Theodore Willard
and the following voted against the same: none
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
