HomeMy WebLinkAbout1968-058 CCR1 1 Member John Leary moved its adoption: introduced the following resolution and RESOLUTION NO. 68 -5E RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED STREET SURFACING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1967 -43 WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an improve- ment consisting of the following: 1967 -43 Street surfacing on Willow Lane from 70th Avenue North to approximately 1725 feet south of 70th Avenue. WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a preliminary report ad- vising that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it can be constructed at an estimated cost of $11,870.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes. 2. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be held at the City Hall in the City on Monday, the 1st day of April, 1968, at 8:40 o'clock P.M., central standard time, and the Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publication in the official newspaper of the City. 3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement is as follows: ALL LOTS AND PARCELS, ABUTTING THE ABOVE DESCRIBED STREETS. 4. This proposed improvement shall be designated Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1967 -43. March 11, 1968 ATTEST: The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member EarlRydberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, john Leary, Earl Rydberg, and Howard Heck and the following voted against the same: none whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
