HomeMy WebLinkAbout1968-061 CCR1 1 1 Member Earl Rydberg moved its adoption: introduced the following resolution and RESOLUTION NO. 68 -61 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1967 -44 WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an improve- ment consisting of the following: 1967 -44 Storm Sewer in Willow Lane from 70th Avenue North to 1725 feet south of 70th Avenue. WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a preliminary report advis- ing that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it can be con- structed at an estimated cost of$10,92700. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes. 2. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be held at the City Hall in the city on Monday, the 1st day of April, 1968, at 8:30 o'clock P.M., central standard time, and the Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publication in the official newspaper of the city. 3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement con- sists of: All lots and parcels contained within that part of Section 25 and Section 36, T. 119, R. 21, Hennepin County, Minnesota, described as: Bounded on the north by the north line of Kelley Estates; bounded on the west by the east right -of -way line of U. S. Trunk Highway No. 169; bounded on the south by the south line of Lot 7, Auditor's Subdivision No. 310; and bounded on the east by a line described as: Commencing at a point in the south line of Lot 7, Auditor's Subdivision No. 310, distant 320 feet east from the southwest corner thereof; thence northeasterly to a point in the north line of said Lot 7, distant 415 feet east from the northwest corner thereof; thence northerly parallel with the center- line of Willow Lane to the north line of Lot 1, Block 1, Kelley Estates, and said line there terminating. All according to the plats and record thereof. RESOLUTION NO. ATTEST: March 11. 1968 Date 68 -61 4. This proposed improvement shall be designated Storm Sewer Improvement Project No. 1967 -44. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Jo Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, john Leary, Earl Rydberg, and Howard Heck and the following voted against the same: none whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
