HomeMy WebLinkAbout1968-063 CCRMember John Leary and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING MUNICIPAL STATE AID STREETS WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the streets hereinafter described should be designated Municipal State Aid Streets under the provisions of Minnesota Laws of 1959, Chapter 500: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the streets described as follows: NO. STREET FROM TO 120 62nd Avenue North Dupont Avenue North Lyndale Avenue No. 121 Lyndale Avenue No. 62nd Avenue North 59th Avenue No. (West frontage road) be, and hereby are established, located and designated Municipal State Aid Streets of said City of Brooklyn Center, subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Highways of the State of Minnesota. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby author- ized and directed to forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Highways for his consideration, and that upon his approval of the designation of said streets or portion thereof, that same be constructed, improved and maintained as Municipal State Aid Streets of the City of Brooklyn Center, to be numbered and known as Municipal State Aid Streets as indicated above. ATTEST: March 25, 1968 introduced the following resolution RESOLUTION NO. 68 -63 Dated Mayor Cler The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Wlllarci and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard and the following voted against the same: none. whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
