HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-351 CCRMember Gordon Erickson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: ATTEST: December 11, 1967 RESOLUTION NO. 67 -351 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Erickson Erickson, Inc. has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accordance with said contract: Public Utilities Extensions Improvement Project No. 1967 -5 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed exceeded the original contract amount by $109.90 because water services were in- stalled to fit a future 66 ft. right -of -way. (A 60 ft. right -of -way was used in the original estimate.) Also, one water service was added to the project. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satisfied on said contract on December 11, 1967, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $3,136.40. Date Mayor er The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Gordon Erickson, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
