HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-354 CCRMember Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Erickson Erickson, Inc. has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accordance with said contract: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed exceeded the original contract amount by $294.05 because of unplanned resoding of the west boulevard of Major Avenue North, due to underground telephone line relocation into the boulevard, which was the principal cause of overrun. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satisfied on said contract on December 11, 1967, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $3,937.10. December 11, 1967 Date ATTEST: Clerk RESOLUTION NO. 67 -354 WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1967 -17 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Gordon Erickson, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard, and the following voted aginst the same: none, whereupon said resolution was duly passed and adopted.
