HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-355 CCRMember John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 67 -355 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Erickson 6 Erickson, Inc. has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accordance with said contract: Water Main Improvement Project No. 1967 -20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed exceeded the original contract amount by $96.00 because, in order to facilitate future construction, 6 feet of pipe was added to the project, causing the overrun. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satisfied on said contract on December 11, 1967, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $960.00. ATTEST: December 11, 1967 Date The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Gordon Erickson, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
