HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-365 CCR1 1 The Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the consideration of proposed Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1968 -7. The Clerk produced an affidavit of publication of notice of hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks publication thereof in the official newspaper, the last publication being on December 7, 1967, which affidavit was examined and found satisfactory and ordered placed on file. The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to present arguments either for or against the proposed improvement. After hearing and considering all objections, and the property owners appearing in favor of said improvement, member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF STREET SURFACING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1968 -7. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that it is hereby determined that it is necessary and for the best interests of the City and the owners of property specially benefitted thereby, that the following improvement shall be constructed: Project No. 1968 -7 Street Surfacing on Bryant Avenue North from 55th Avenue to 59th Avenue; 56th Avenue North from approximately 165 feet west of centerline Bryant Avenue to Aldrich Avenue; and 58th Avenue North from approximately 196 feet west to 165 feet east of centerline of Bryant Avenue. The estimated cost is $22,033.00. December 11, 1967 Date RESOLUTION NO. 67 -365 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Gordon Erickson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Gordon Erickson, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
