HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-253 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 67 -253 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1967 -52 WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an im- provement consisting of the following: 1967 -52 Storm sewer in Northway Boulevard and Northway Drive from approximately 560 feet east of Xerxes Avenue to Shingle Creek. WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a preliminary report advising that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it can be constructed at an estimated cost of $14,340.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by Chapter 429 Minnesota Statutes. 2. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be held at the City Hall in the City on Monday, the 21st day of August, 1967, at 8:25 o'clock P.M., daylight saving time and the Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publication in the official newspaper of the City. 3. The area proposed to be assessed consists of all lots and parcels lying within the following described area: "Registered Land Survey No. 1186, County of Hennepin, Minnesota; and Registered Land Survey No. 1211, County of Hennepin, Minnesota." 4. This proposed improvement shall be designated Storm Sewer Improvement No. 1967 -52. i August 7, 1967 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary and Howard Heck and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
