RESOLUTION NO. 67 -258
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK
(CONTRACTED BY VILLAGE)
WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the
(then) Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Bury 8 Carlson, Inc.
has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord
ance with said contract:
Storm Sewer Improvement Project No. 1966 -3
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center:
1. The work completed under said contract is hereby
accepted and approved.
2 The value of work P erformed is less than the original
contract amount by $1,184.95 because of the lower inplace steet
grades after the stripping of old bituminous and the installation
of other utilities, resulting in shallower, and thus lower priced,
pay depths for the storm sewer installation.
3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been
satisfied on said contract on August 14, 1967, taking the con-
tractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract
for said improvement project was $42,995.93.
