HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-277 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 67 -277 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND APPROVING CONTRACT FORM WHEREAS, the City Clerk and the City Engineer have reported that on September 5, 1967, at 10:00 o'clock A.M. daylight saving time, they opened and tabulated bids received for Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project No. 1967 -48, Water Main Improvement Project No. 1967 -49, Storm Sewer Improvement Project No. 1967 -52, Grading, Base Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1967 -50, and Curb Gutter Improvement Porject No. 1967 -51, and that said bids were as follows: C.S. McCrossan, Inc. 92,489.85 Northdale Construction Co. 99, 596.87 Northern Contracting Co. 101, 817.08 Bury Carlson, Inc. 104, 524.03 Dunkley Swfacing Co. Inc. 106, 793.32 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of C. S. McCrossan, Inc. in the amount of $92,489.85, as to furnishing of all work, labor and material in connection with Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project No. 1967 -48, Water Main Improvement Project No. 1967 -49, Storm Sewer Improvement Project No. 1967 -52, Grading, Base Surfacing Improvement_ Project No. 1967 -51, according to the plans and specifications therefor now on file in the office of the City Clerk, is deemed to be the lowest and best bid submitted for said work by a responsible bidder, and said bid is hereby cepted. September 5, 1967 Date Mayor ATTEST dlerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Howard Heck, Gordon Erickson and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
