HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-291 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 67 -291 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1967 -36 AND STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1967 -38, AND DIRECTING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The plans and specifications for the following improve- ments, prepared by the City Engineer, are hereby approved and ordered filed with the Clerk: Water Main Improvement Project No. 1967 -36 Storm Sewer Improvement Project No. 1967 -38 2. The Clerk shall advertise for bids for such improvements by publication at least once in the official newspaper and in the Construction Bulletin, the date of first publication not less than ten days prior to the date for receipt of bids. Said notice shall state that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed and accompanied by a cash deposit, bid bond, cashier's check or certified check payable to the City Clerk in the amount of not less than five per cent of the bid. 3. Bid date is set for Monday, October 9, 1967, at 11:00 o'clock A.M., daylight saving time. 4. The City Administrator and City Engineer shall be author- ized to open and tabulate the bids. September 25, 1967 Date Mayor ATTEST: Cher The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Gordon Erickson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, john Leary, Gordon Erickson, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
