moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 67 -308
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK
(CONTRACTED BY CITY)
WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the
City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Barbarossa 8 Sons, Inc.,
has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord-
ance with said contract:
Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project No. 1967 -27
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center:
1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted
and approved.
2. The value of work performed is less than the original
contract amount by $1,669.75 because the original bid quantities
used pay cuts based on inplace ground line profiles. Subsequent
to the completion of the bid proposal, arrangements were made with
the developer and City street crews for completion of street sub
cuts in advance of the sewer construction, with a substantial saving
in the pay depths.
3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis-
fied on said contract on October 9 1967, taking the contractor's
receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said
improvement project was $56,798.00.
