HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-308 CCR Member Theodore Willardintroduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 67 -308 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Barbarossa 8 Sons, Inc., has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord- ance with said contract: Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project No. 1967 -27 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed is less than the original contract amount by $1,669.75 because the original bid quantities used pay cuts based on inplace ground line profiles. Subsequent to the completion of the bid proposal, arrangements were made with the developer and City street crews for completion of street sub cuts in advance of the sewer construction, with a substantial saving in the pay depths. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis- fied on said contract on October 9 1967, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $56,798.00. October 16, 1967 Date Mayor ATTEST: Jerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Gordon Erickson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Gordon Erickson, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
