HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-309 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 67 -309 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Barbarossa Sons, Inc., has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord- ance with said contract: Water Main Improvement Project No. 1967 -26 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed is less than the original contract amount by $1,369.55 because: a) The developer on the east side of Humboldt Avenue North decided he would prefer services for single family hook -up rather than the duplex services anticipated in the contract plan. b) One water main stub out with attached appurtenances was deleted from the contract. c) General under -run of such items as sod. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis- fied on said contract on October 9 1967, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $49,260.15. October 16, 1967 Date Mayor ATTEST: b Clerk's The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Gordon Erickson, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was duly passed and adopted.
