HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-311 CCR Member Gordon Erickson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 67 -311 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Barbarossa 8 Sons, Inc., has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accordance with said contract: Sanitary Sewer Service Extensions Improvement Project No. 1967 -30 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed exceeded the original contract amount by $548.00 because of a change in the scope of the project. Services were relocated and added to provide for residential lots rather than duplex lots at the request of the developer. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis- fied on said contract on October 9, 1967, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $2,740.00. October 16, 1967 Date /�Mayor ATTEST: erk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Gordon Erickson, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
