and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 67 -316
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING WATER STORAGE TANK TOWER
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1968 -1 AND ORDERING PREPA-
RATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary to initiate
Water Storage Tank 8 Tower Improvement Project No. 1968 -1.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center to direct the City Engineer to prepare
plans and specifications for said Water Storage Tank 8 Tower
Improvement Project No. 1968 -1, described as follows:
1968 -1 Water Storage Tank 8 Tower #3
2,000 gallon elevated steel water storage tank and
tower south of T.H.100 and west of Shingle Creek.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary,
Gordon Erickson, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard,
and the following voted against the same: none
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
