HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-332 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 67 -332 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PARK DEPARTMENT TRACTOR WITH HYDRAULIC SYSTEM, FRONT END LOADER, POWER STEERING AND ALL WEATHER STEEL CAB WHEREAS, the City Manager and the City Clerk have reported that on October 30, 1967, at 10:00 o'clock A. M. they opened and tabulated bids received for one industrial type tractor with hydraulic system, front end loader, power steering and all- weather steel cab, and that said bids were as follows: Initial Trade -In Cash Price Allowance Difference Delivery Date Midway Tractor Equipment Co, 4,891.40 1,200.00 3,691.40 30 -60 days L -Z Mfg. Co. Inc. 6,900.00 2,937.00 3,963.00 10 days Frank Knapp Sales 7,067.15 2,579.85 4,487.30 30 days Intl Harvester Sales Service 7,846.00 3,353.00 4,493.00 75 days Freeway Equipment Co. 7,816.90 2,836.90 4,980.00 approx. 21 days NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn, Center, Minnesota that the bid of Midway Tractor and Equipment Co. in the amount of $3,691.40 for the furnishing of one (1) tractor in the accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and that said bid is hereby accepted. zf November 13. 1967 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Gordon Erickson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Gordon Erickson, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
