moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 67 -126
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR GASOLINE, FUEL OIL
FOR HEATING AND DIESEL FUEL OIL
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the City Clerk have reported that on
April 10, 1967 at 2 :00 P. M. they opened and tabulated bids received for
the furnishing of gasoline, fuel oil, and diesel fuel oil and that said bids were
as follows:

Midland Coop. 17.98 19.98 12.0 12.0
Mobil Oil Co. 17.58 19.56 11.9 11.9
Standard Oil Co. 17.405 19.405 11.95 11.95
Sinclair Oil Co. 17.68 18.75 11.1 11.1
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Brooklyn Center,
Minnesota that the bid of Standard Oil Company in the amount of 17.405 for
regular gas in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid
submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn
Center, Minnesota that the bid of Sinclair Oil Company in the amount of
11.1 for #2 Fuel Oil and 11.1 for Diesel Fuel in accordance with the specifications
is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is
hereby accepted.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by member John Leary, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Howard Heck, Gordon
Erickson and the following voted against the same:
none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
