HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-128 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 67 -128 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PLANT -MIXED BITUMINOUS MATERIAL WHEREAS, the City Manager and City Clerk have reported that on April 10, 1967 at 2 :00 P.M. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of plant -mixed bituminous material and said bids were as follows: 1500 Tons with 6500 Tons with 1000 Tons with Coarse Aggregate Coarse Aggregate Fine Aggregate Bidder Furnish Load Furnish Deliver Furnish Load Total Blacktop Service Co. 5.25 6.00 5.25 52, 125.00 Alexander Const. Co. 4.65 5.00 4.75 44, 225.00 Kenneth L. Bergstrom Const. Co. 4.95 5.45 5.20 48,050.00 Dunkley Surfacing Inc. 5.20 5.90 5.40 51, 550.00 C.S. McCrossan Inc. 4.65 4.95 4.65 43,800.00 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of C.S. McCrossan for the furnishing of Plant -Mixed Bituminous Material in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. April 24, 1967 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Gordon Erickson and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Howard Heck, Gordon Erickson and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
