HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-129 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO.67 -129 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR FURNISHING OF WATER TREATMENT CHEMICALS WHEREAS, the City Manager and City Clerk have reported that on April 10, 1967 at 2 :00 P.M. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of water treatment chemicals and that said bids were as follows: Blended Chlorine Ammonium Hydrofluosilicic Polyphos- Bidder Per 1504 Cvl. Sulphate per cwt. Acid per cwt. phate per cwt McKesson Robbins Inc. 20.75 No Bid 8.75 No Bid Hawkins Chemical 19.50 4.65 8.40 No Bid Philip B. Suffel No Bid Bond Lyon Chemical Inc. 19.50 4.65 8.40 21.00 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of Hawkins Chemical for the furnishing of Chlorine and Ammonium Sulphate in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the bid of Lyon Chemical for the furnishing of Hydrofluosilicic Acid and Blended Polyphosphate is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a res- ponsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. April 24, 1967 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded. by member Gordon Erickson and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, john Leary, Howard Heck, Gordon Erickson and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
