Member John Leary introduced the following resolution
and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 67 -142
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND APPROVING
CONTRACT FORM
WHEREAS, the City Clerk and the City Engineer have reported
that on May 4, 1967, at 2 :00 o'clock P.M., daylight saving time,
they opened and tabulated bids received for Water Main Improvement
Projects No. 1966 -16, 1967 -1 3, 17, 20 22 23 8 24, Sanitary Sewer
Interceptor 6 Lift Station Improvement Project No. 1967 -4, Sanitary
Sewer Improvement Project No. 1966 -15, 1967 -7, 16 8 21, and Public
Utilities Service Extensions Improvement Project No. 1967 -5, and
that said bids were as follows:

Erwin Montgomery Construction Company $118,999.43
Nodland Construction Company, Inc. 0000.. $126
Phelps Drake Company, Inc. $142,879.45

Minn -Kota Excavating Company (No Bid Bond)

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center Minnesota that the bid of Erickson
Erickson, Inc., in the amount of $115,675.80, as to the furnishing
of all labor, work and material in connection with Water Main
Improvement Projects No. 1966 -16, 1967 -1 3 17 20 22 23 6 24
Sanitary Sewer Interceptor 6 Lift Station Improvement Project No.
1967 -4 Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project No. 1966 -15, 1967 -7,
16 8 21, and Public Utilities Service Extensions Improvement
Project No. 1967 -5 according to the plans and specifications
therefor now on file in the office of the City Clerk, is deemed
to be the lowest and best bid submitted for said work by a respon-
sible bidder, and said bid is hereby accepted.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Gordon Erickson and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: John Leary, Gordon
Erickson and Howard Heck,
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
