HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-143 CCR Member john Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 67 -143 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1967 -26 WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an improvement consisting of the following: 1967 -26 Water Main in Humboldt Avenue North from 70th Avenue to 73rd Avenue; Knox Avenue North from 71st Avenue to 73rd Avenue; 71st Avenue North, Amy Lane, 72nd Avenue North and Woodbine Lane from Knox Avenue to Humboldt Avenue; 73rd Avenue North from Logan Avenue to Girard Avenue. WHEREAS, the City engineer has made a preliminary report advising that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it can be constructed at an estimated cost of $74,378.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The council proposes to proceed under authority granted by Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes- 2. A public hearing onthe proposed improvement shall be held at the City Hall in the City on Monday, the 29th day of May, 1967, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., D.S.T., and the clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publication in the official newspaper of the City. 3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement is as follows: ALL LOTS AND PARCELS ABUTTING THE ABOVE DESCRIBED STREETS TO BE BENEFITTED BY THE IMPROVEMENT. 4. This proposed improvement shall be desi ated Water Main Improvement Project No. 1967 -26. May 8, 1967 Date 4 Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Gordon Erickson and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: john Leary, Gordon Erickson and Howard Heck, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
