moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 67 -144
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON
PROPOSED SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT NO. 1967 -27
WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an improvement
consisting of the following:
1967 -27 Sanitary Sewer in Humboldt Avenue North from 71st
Avenue to 73rd Avenue; Amy Lane from 175 feet east of Knox Avenue
to Humboldt Avenue; 72nd Avenue North from 175 feet east of Knox
Avenue to Humboldt Avenue; Woodbine Lane from Knox Avenue to Humboldt
Avenue; 73rd Avenue North from Logan Avenue to Humboldt Avenue;
Knox Avenue North from 80 feet north of Amy Lane to 71st Avenue;
and Knox Avenue North from Woodbine Lane to 380 feet south of and
275 feet north of Woodbine Lane, respectively; also sanitary sewer
service extensions in 71st Avenue North from Knox Ave. to Humboldt Ave.
WHEREAS, the City engineer has made a preliminary report advising
that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it can be
constructed at an estimated cost of $67,140.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The council proposes to proceed under authority granted
by chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes.
2. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be held
at the City Hall in the city on Monday, the 29th day of May, 1967,
at 8:10 o'clock P.M., D.S.T., and the clerk shall publish notice
of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publication in the official
newspaper of the city.
3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement is
as follows:
ALL LOTS D ED E
AN PARCELS ABUTTING THE ABOVE DESCRIBED STREETS
TO BE BENEFITTED BY THE IMPROVEMENT.
4. This proposed improvement shall be designated Sanitary
Sewer Improvement No. 1967 -27.
