HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-145 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 67 -145 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1967 -28 WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an improvement consisting of the following: 1967 -28 Storm sewer approximately 400 feet west of and parallel to Humboldt Avenue North from 71st Avenue North to 73rd Avenue North; Woodbine Lane from Knox Avenue to approximately 600 feet east; 71st Avenue North and Amy Lane at Humboldt Avenue. WHEREAS, the City engineer has made a preliminary report advising that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it can be constructed at an estimated cost of $28,704.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The council proposes to proceed under authority granted by Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes. 2. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be held at the City Hall in the City on Monday, the 29th day of May, 1967, at 8:15 O'clock P.M., D.S.T., and the clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publication in the official newspaper of the City. 3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement consists of all lots and parcels contained within an area described as: The North East One Quarter of the South East One- Quarter, Section 26, Township 119, Range 21, Hennepin County, Minnesota, except the west One Hundred Eighty Feet thereof. 4. This proposed improvement shall be designated Storm Sewer Improvement No. 1967 -28. May 8, 1967 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk RESOLUTION NO. 67 -145 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Gordon Erickson and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: john Leary, Gordon Erickson and Howard Heck, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
