HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-153 CCR Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 67 -153 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1967 -31 WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an improve- ment consisting of the following: 1967 -31 Sanitary sewer in 66th Avenue North from Bryant Avenue to Dupont Avenue; Dupont Avenue North from 66th Avenue (extended) to approximately 90 feet south of 67th Avenue; and Colfax Avenue North from 66th Avenue to approximately 90 feet south of 69th Avenue. WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a preliminary report ad- vising that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it can be constructed at an estimated cost of $27,570.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, as follows: 1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by Chapter 429 Minnesota Statutes. 2. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be held at the City Hall in the City on Monday, the 29th day of May, 1967, at 8:30 o'clock P.M., daylight saving time, and the Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publication in the official newspaper of the City. 3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement is as follows: ALL LOTS AND PARCELS ABUTTING THE ABOVE NAMED STREETS TO BE BENEFITTED BY THE IMPROVEMENT. 4. This proposed improvement shall be designated Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project No. 1967 -31. May 15, 1967 Date /Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: John Leary, Gordon Erickson, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
