HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-155 CCR r Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 67 -155 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1967 -32 WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an improve- ment consisting of the following: 1967 -32 Water main in 66th Avenue North from Bryant Avenue to Colfax Avenue; Colfax Avenue North from 66th Avenue to approximately 660 feet north of 67th Avenue. WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a preliminary report ad- vising that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it can be constructed at an estimated cost of $14,881.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, as follows: 1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes. 2. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be held at the City Hall in the City on Monday, the 29th day of May, 1967, at 8 :40 o'clock P.M., daylight saving time, and the Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publication in the official newspaper of the City.. 3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement is as follows: ALL LOTS AND PARCELS ABUTTING THE ABOVE NAMED STREETS TO BE BENEFITTED BY THE IMPROVEMENT. 4. This proposed improvement shall be designated Water Main Improvement Project No. 1967 -32. May 15, 1967 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Gordon Erickson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: John Leary, Gordon Erickson, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
