HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-161 CCR P" Member john Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption; RESOLUTION N0.67 -161 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE NATIONAL MOWER WHEREAS, Section 6.05 of the City Charter of the City of Brooklyn Center requires that the City Manager first obtain the approval of the City Council prior to making or letting contracts for the purchase of merchandise, materials or equipment, or any kind of construction work when the amount of such contract exceeds one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) but is less than twenty five hundred dollars 2, 500.00) and WHEREAS, the City Manager has obtained quotations on the purchase of one riding mower and has determined that the quotation of National Mower Company in the amount of $1,020.00 for said equipment is the best quotation submitted, BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized tocontract for the purchase of one National Riding Mower in the amount of $1,020.00 from the National Mower Company.
