HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-162 CCR The Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the con- sideration of proposed Water Main Improvement Project No. 1967 -26. The Clerk produced an affidavit of publication of notice of hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks' publication thereof in the official newspaper, the last publication being on May 25, 1967, which affidavit was examined and found satisfactory and ordered placed on file. I r The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to present arguments either for or against the proposed improvement. After hearing and considering all objections, and the property owners appearing in favor of said improvement, member john Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 67 -162 RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1967 -26 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that it is hereby determined that it is necessary and for the best interests of the City and the owners of property specially benefitted thereby, that the following improvement shall be constructed: Project No. 1967 -26 Water main in Humboldt Avenue North from 70th Avenue to 73rd Avenue; Knox Avenue North from 71st Avenue to 73rd Avenue; 71st Avenue North, Amy Lane, 72nd Avenue North and Woodbine Lane from Knox Avenue to Humboldt Avenue; 73rd Avenue North from Logan Avenue to Girard Avenue. The estimated cost is $74,378.00 May 29, 1967 Date Mayor ATTEST Clerk The motion for the.a.doption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Gordon Erickson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Howard Heck, john Leary, Gordon Erickson and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
