HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-163 CCR The Mayor announced that the meeting wasf -open for the con- sideration of proposed Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project No. 1967 -27. The Clerk produced an affidavit of publication of notice of hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks publication thereof in the official newspaper, the last publication being on May 25, 1967, which affidavit was examined and found satisfactory and ordered placed on file. The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to present arguments either for or against the proposed improvement. After hearing and considering all objections, and the property owners appearing in favor of said improvement, member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 67 -163 RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1967 -27 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that it is hereby etermined that it is necessary y and for the best interests of the City and the owners of property specially benefitted thereby, that the following improvement shall be constructed- Project No. 1967 -27 Sanitary sewer in Humboldt Avenue North from 71st Avenue to 73rd Avenue; Amy Lane from 175 feet east of Knox Avenue to Humboldt Avenue; 72nd Avenue North from 175 feet east of Knox Avenue to Humboldt Avenue; Woodbine Lane from Knox Avenue to Humboldt Avenue; 73rd Avenue North from Logan Avenue to Humboldt Avenue; Knox Avenue North from 80 feet north of Amy Lane to 71st Avenue; Knox Avenue North from Woodbine Lane to 380 feet south of and 275 feet north of Woodbine Lane, respectively; and sanitary sewer service extensions in 71st Avenue North from Knox Avenue to Humboldt Avenue. The estimated cost is $67,1 May 29, 1967 DATE Mayor ATTEST •��L v Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member john Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Howard Heck, john Leary, Gordon Erickson and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
