RESOLUTION NO. 67 -169
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND APPROVING
CONTRACT FORM
WHEREAS, the City Clerk and the City Engineer have reported
that on May 25, 1967 at 2 :00 o'clock P.M., D.S.T., they opened and
tabulated bids received for Water Main Improvement Project No, 1967 -26,
Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project No. 1967 -27, Storm Sewer Improvement
Project No. 1967 -28 and Sanitary Sewer Service Extensions Improvement
Project No. 1967 -30, and that said bids were as follows:

Minn -Kota Excavating, Inc........... 131,208.84
Erickson 8 Erickson, Inc............ 135,660.80
Erwin Montgomery Construction Co.... 145,287.20

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of Barbarossa 6 Sons,
Inc., in the amount of $130,539.95, as to furnishing of all work, labor,
and material in connection with Water Main Improvement Project No.
1967 -26, Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project No. 1967 -27, Storm Sewer
Improvement Project No. 1967 -28, and Sanitary Sewer Extensions Improve-
ment Project No. 1967 -30, according to the plans and specifications
therefor now on file in the office of the City Clerk is deemed to be the
lowest and best bid submitted for said work by a responsible bidder,
and said bid is hereby accepted.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John
Leary, Howard Heck, Gordon Erickson and Theodore Willard,
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
