HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-175 CCR Member Gordon Erickson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 67 -175 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT NO. 1967 -35 WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an improve- ment consisting of the following: 1967 -35 Sanitary sewer in 69 -1/2 Avenue North from the east line of Gregor's Addition to 400 feet east. WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a preliminary report advising that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it can be constructed at an estimated cost of $3,772.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota as follows: 1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes. 2. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be held at the City Hall in the City on Monday, the 12th day of June, 1967 at 8:05 o'clock P.M., daylight saving time, and the Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publication in the official newspaper of the City. 3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement is as follows: ALL LOTS AND PARCELS ABUTTING THE ABOVE DESCRIBED STREET TO BE BENEFITTED BY THE IMPROVEMENT. 4. This ro osed improvement shall be designated Sanitary P P P g y Sewer Improvement Project No. 1967 -35. May 29, 1967 Date Mayor ATTEST: �'G C1 rk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Howard Heck, Gordon Erickson and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
