HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-185 CCR The Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the considera- tion of proposed. Water Main Improvement Project No. 1967 -34. The clerk produced an affidavit of publication of notice of hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks publication thereof in the official newspaper, the last publication being on June 8, 1967, which affidavit was examined, and, found, satisfactory and. ordered, placed, on file. The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to present arguments either for or against the proposed improvement. After hearing and, considering all objections, and, the property owners appearing in favor of said, improvement, member Theodore Willard introduced, the following resolution and. moved, its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 67 -185 RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1967 -34 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that it is hereby determined, that it is necessary and, for the 'best interests of the City and the owners of property specially benefited, thereby, that the following improvement shall be constructed: 1967 -34 Water main in 69 -1/2 Avenue North from the east line of Gregor's Addition to 244 feet east. I The estimated cost is $1,546.35. m June 12, 1967 Date Mayor ATTEST: C ldfk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Howard Heck, John Leary, Gordon Erickson and Theodore Willard, and, the following voted, against the same: none, whereupon said, resolution was declared, duly passed, and. adopted.
