RESOLUTION NO.67 -1 88
RESOLUTION APPROVING LAWS OF MINNESOTA FOR 1967,
CHAPTER 736
WHEREAS, Laws of Minnesota for 1967, Chapter 736, entitled "AN
ACT RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A POLICEMAN'S PENSION FUND,
ESTABLISHING BENEFITS AND PROVIDING TAX LEVIES THEREFORE. requires
the approval of a majority of the members of the City Council before the
act becomes effective:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Brooklyn Center that Laws of Minnesota for 1967, Chapter 736 is hereby
approved, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to certify a copy of this
resolution to the Secretary of State for the State of Minnesota as required
by Minnesota Statutes, Section 645.021.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by member Gordon Erickson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Howard
Heck, Gordon Erickson and Theodore Willard,
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
