HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-189 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 67 -189 RESOLUTION APPROVING LAWS OF MINNESOTA FOR 1967, CHAPTER 815 WHEREAS,Laws of Minnesota for 1967, Chapter 815, entitled "AN ACT RELATING TO THE FIREMEN'S RELIEF ASSOCIATION OF THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER, PROVIDING CERTAIN BENEFITS FOR VOLUNTEER FIREMEN AND THEIR SURVIVORS; AUTHORIZING TAX LEVIES; PROVIDING FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE FUND requires the approval of a majority of the members of the City Council before the act becomes effective: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that Laws of Minnesota for 1967, Chapter 815 is hereby approved, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to certify a copy of this resolution to the Secretary of State for the State of Minnesota as required by Minnesota Statutes, Section 645.021. June 12, 1967 Date Mayor ATTEST• C lef'" The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Gordon Erickson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Howard Heck, Gordon Erickson and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
