HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-190 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 67 -190 RESOLUTION COMMENDING THOMAS L. HADD WHEREAS, Thomas L. Hadd has been employed by the City (and formerly the Village) of Brooklyn Center since September of 1963, and has served in the following positions, among others: Administrative Intern (Village) Acting Administrator (Village) Administrative Assistant (Village and City) Deputy Clerk (City) Deputy Manager (City) and WHEREAS, Mr. Hadd is resigning his positions as Deputy City Manager and Administrative Assistant to the City Manager effective June 16, 1967; and WHEREAS, during his tenure with the City and Village of Brooklyn Center, Mr. Hadd has exhibited great skill and dedicated interest in accomplishing administrative tasks assigned to him,thereby furthering the effectiveness and efficiency of Brooklyn Center government: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center hereby acknowledges, and expresses its appreciation for, Mr. Hadd's service to the community, and wishes him great success in his new position with the University of Missouri and in all future positions he may hold. Tune 26, 1967 Date Mayor ATTEST: a lere The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Gordon Erickson, Howard Heck, and Theodore Willard and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
