HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-191 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 67 -191 RESOLUTION DECLARING SURPLUS PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING DISPOSAL OF SAME WHEREAS, the (then Village Council) authorized Improvement Project No. 1962 -13 calling for the modification of sewage lift station No. 1 located at 6112 Vincent Avenue North; and WHEREAS, among other things, said modification involved the programmed replacement of two existing 20 horsepower electric motors with two 75 horsepower electric motors; and WHEREAS, the City Manager advises that the two 20 horsepower electric motors have been retained by the Public Utilities Department as surplus equipment; and WHEREAS, the City Manager further advises that said 20 horsepower motors are surplus equipment and cannot be used to the benefit of the City: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to declare the two 20 horsepower electric motors surplus property and to authorize the City Manager to take quotations on and dispose of said electric motors to the best advantage of the City with the proceeds to be credited to the Public Utilities Department. Tune 26, 1967 Date Mayor ATTEST: Jerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Gordon Erickson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, john Leary, Gordon Erickson, Howard Heck, and Theodore Willard and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
