resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 67 215
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARINGS ON PROPOSED
STREET GRADING, BASE SURFACING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
NO. 1967 -12 AND CURB GUTTER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1967 -13
WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed improvements
consisting of the following:
1967 -12 Street Grading, Base Surfacing
Emerson Avenue North from 67th Avenue to the north
line of Hi Crest Square.
1967 -13 Curb Gutter
Emerson Avenue North from 67th Avenue to the north
line of Hi Crest Square.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a preliminary report advising
that said proposed improvements are feasible and that they can be
constructed at estimated costs of $1,677.00 and
$1,708.00 respectively.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The council proposes to proceed under authority
granted by Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes.
2. A public hearing on the proposed improvements shall be
held at the City Hall in the city on Monday, the 24th day of July,
1967, at 8:10 P.M., and 8:15 P.M., D.S.T., respectively, and the
clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of the hearing by
two weeks' publication in the official newspaper of the city.
3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvements is
as follows:
All lots and parcels abutting the above described streets.
4. These proposed improvements shall be designated Street
Grading, Base Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1967 -12 and
Curb Gutter Improvement Project No. 1967 -13.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Howard Heck and, upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted, in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, john Leary,
Gordon Erickson, Howard Heck, and Theodore Willard;
and, the following voted. against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared. duly passed, and, adopted.
