moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 67 -218
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON
PROPOSED STREET SURFACING IMPROVEMENT
II PROJECT NO. 1967 -37
WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an improve-
ment consisting of the following:
1967 -37 Street Surfacing
Lake Breeze Avenue from France Avenue North to Twin Lake
Avenue; Twin Lake Avenue and Lakeview Avenue from Lakeside
Avenue North to approximately 367 feet north of centerline
Lake Breeze Avenue; Azelia Avenue North from approximately
370 feet south to approximately 367 feet north of center-
line Lake Breeze Avenue; Lakeside Avenue North from Twin
Lake Avenue to approximately 1,160 feet east.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a preliminary report
advising that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it
can be constructed at an estimated cost of $30,960.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The council proposes to proceed under authority granted
by Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes.
2. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be
held at the City Hall in the City on Monday, the 24th day of July,
1967, at 8 :40 P.M., D.S.T., and the clerk shall publish notice of
the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publication in the
official newspaper of the City.
3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement is as
follows:
All lots and parcels abutting the above named streets where
the project is to be constructed.
4. This proposed improvement shall be designated Street
Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1967 -37.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Gordon Erickson and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John
Leary, Gordon Erickson, Howard Heck, and Theodore Willard;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
