and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 67 -219
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED
STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1967 -38
WHEREAS it is proposed that here be constructed an improve-

ment consisting of the following:
1967 -38 Storm sewer in Lake Breeze Avenue from Twin Lake
Avenue to approximately 1400 feet east.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a preliminary report
advising that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it can
be constructed at an estimated cost of $23,283.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted
by Chapter 429 Minnesota Statutes.
2. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be
held at the City Hall in the City on Monday, the 24th day of July,
1967, at 8:50 o'clock P.M., daylight saving time, and the Clerk shall
publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publica-
tion in the official newspaper of the City.
3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement
consists of all lots and parcels lying within an area described as
follows:
"Beginning at a point on the north line of the south half of
Section 10, T. 118, R. 21, distant 237.16 feet west from the
center of said section; thence north 100.00 feet; thence west
1,691.50 feet on a line parallel to the north line of the south
half of said Section 10; thence south 100.00 feet more or less
to the northwest corner of Lot 6, Block 6, Lakebreeze Addition;
thence west along the north line of Lakebreeze'Addition, distant
428.43 feet; thence southerly to a point on the south line of
Lot 1, Block 4, Lakebreeze Addition, distant 115.5 feet west of
the southeast corner therein; thence southeasterly on a line
parallel to the west line of Twin Lake Avenue to a point 283.62
feet south of the south line of Lakebreeze Addition, as measured
normal to said south line; thence easterly and parallel to the
south line of Lakebreeze Addition to the north right -of -way
line of T. H. 100; thence northeasterly along said right -of -way
line extended, to a point 200.62 feet south of the south line
of Lakebreeze Addition; thence easterly on a line parallel with
the south line of Lakebreeze Addition to a point 1063.00 feet
west of the east line of the west one -half of Section 10; thence
north on a line parallel to said east line to the south line of
Lakebreeze Addition; thence east on the south line of Lakebreeze
Addition to a point 237.16 feet west of the east line of the
west half of Section 10; thence north to the point of beginning."

4. This proposed improvement shall be designated Storm
Sewer Improvement Project No. 1967 -38.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Gordon Erickson and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John
Leary, Gordon Erickson, Howard Heck, and Theodore Willard:
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
