HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-229 CCR Member john Leary introduced the following resolution and, moved, its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 67 -229 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED CURB GUTTER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1967 -11 WHEREAS, it is proposed, that there be constructed an improve- ment consisting of the following: 1967 -11 Curb Gutter 67th Avenue North from Humboldt Avenue North to approximately 163.4 feet east of centerline of Colfax Avenue North. WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a preliminary report advising that said, proposed, improvement is feasible and. that it can be constructed, at an estimated, cost of $9,971.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The council proposes to proceed, under authority granted by Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes. 2. A public hearing on the proposed, improvement shall be held, at the City Hall in the City on Monday, the 24th day of July, 1967, at 8:05 O'clock P.M., D.S.T., and the clerk shall publish notice of the time and, place of hearing by two weeks' publication in the official newspaper of the city. 3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement is as follows: All Lots and, parcels abutting the above described streets. 4. This proposed, improvement shall be designated Curb Gutter Improvement Pro' p t sect No. 1967 r„1y 1n, i qF Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk Resolution No. 67 -229 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded, by member Theodore Willard and, upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, john Leary, Gordon Erickson, Howard Heck, and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: nong, whereupon said, resolution was declared duly passed and. adopted.
