HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-230 CCR Member Gordon Erickson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 67 -230 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR STREET SURFACING IMPROVEMENT NO'S. 1967 -2, 6, 18, 25, 29, 33, 37, 40, 43 46 AND DIRECTING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The plans and specifications for the following improvements, prepared by the City Engineer, are hereby approved and ordered filed with the Clerk: Street Surfacing Improvement Project No's. 1967 -2, 6, 18, 25, 29, 33, 37, 40, 46 and 46. 2. The Clerk shall advertise for bids for such improvements by publication at least once in the official newspaper and in the Construction Bulletin, the date of first publication not less than ten (10) days prior to the date for receipt of bids. Said notice shall state that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed and accompanied by a cash deposit, bid bond, cashier's check or certified check payable to the City Clerk in the amount of not less than five per cent of the bid. 3. Bid date is set for Monday, July 24, 1967, at 11 :00 o'clock A. M., daylight savings time. 4. The City Manager and City Engineer shall be authorized to open and tabulate the bids. Tulv 10, 1967 Date Mayor I ATTEST: /V Clerk I The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Jchn Leary, Gordon Erickson, Howard Heck, and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
