sideration of proposed Water Main Improvement Project No. 1967 -1.
The Clerk produced an affidavit of publication of notice of
hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks' publication
thereof in the official newspaper, the last publication being on
February 23, 1967, which affidavit was examined and found satisfactory
and ordered placed on file.
The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to
present arguments either for or against the proposed improvement.
After hearing and considering all objections, and the property owners
appearing in favor of said improvement, me

introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 67 -47
RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT NO. 1967 -1
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn
Center, Minnesota, that it is hereby determined that it is necessary
and for the best interests of the City and the owners of property
specially benefitted thereby, that the following improvement shall
be constructed:
Project No. 1967 -1
Water main in Oak Street from France Avenue North to
East Twin Lake Boulevard; 52nd Avenue North from France
Avenue to Lakeside Place; Lakeside Place from 52nd Avenue
to East Twin Lake Boulevard; 53rd Avenue North from France
Avenue to East Twin Lake Boulevard; East Twin Lake Boulevard
from 51st Avenue to 53rd Avenue; Great View Avenue from
52nd Avenue to 53rd Avenue.
The estimated cost is $38,922.00.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John
Leary, Howard Heck, Gordon Erickson and Theodore Willard,
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
