HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-077 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption RESOLUTION NO. 67-77 RESOLUTION GRANTING SPECIAL USE FOR "GARDEN STORE" SHOPPERS' CITY APPLICATION NO. 67009 WHEREAS, Shoppers' City, Inc. has requested a special use permit to erect and operate a "garden store" on its parking lot from April 1, 1967 through July 15, 1967: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center as follows: 1. The City Council finds that the proposed temporary establish- ment of a "garden store" in the Shoppers' City parking lot meets the standards set forth in Section 35 -231 of the City ordinances, and therefore 2. the City Council hereby grants a special use permit to Shoppers' City, Inc. to erect and operate a "garden store" on its parking lot from April 1, 1967 through July 15, 1967, said special use to include a transportable structure not to exceed 24 feet by 28 feet in dimension, which structure shall be constructed consistent with all applicable ordinances. Further, that the structure shall be removed from the parking lot sales site by August 1, 1967. March 2 7, 1967 Date Mayor ATTEST: _4� %.I W,�� Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Howard Heck, Gordon Erickson and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
