HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-088 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 67 -88 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT NO. 1967 -7 WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an improvement consisting of the following: 1967 -7 Sanitary Sewer in 66th Avenue North from 5th Street to approximately 180 feet east. WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a preliminary report advising that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it can be constructed at an estimated cost of $1,561.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes. 2. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be held at the City Hall in the City on Monday, the 10th day of April, 1967, at 8 :55 O'clock P.M., and the clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publication in the official newspaper of the City.. 3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement is as follows: ALL LOTS AND PARCELS ABUTTING THE ABOVE DESCRIBED STREETS TO BE BENEFITTED BY THE IMPROVEMENT. 4. This proposed improvement shall be designated Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. 1967 -7. March 27 1967 Ge Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard, and upon vote being taken thereon the w' follo ing voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Howard Heck, Gordon Erickson and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
