HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-089 CCR Member Gordon Erickson introduced the following resolution, and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 67 -89 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED SANITARY SEWER LATERAL IMPROVEMENT NO. 1967 -16 AND STREET SURFACING IMPROVEMENT NO. 1967 -18 WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed improvements consisting of the following: 1967 -16 Sanitary sewer lateral in Major Avenue North from 57th Avenue to County Road 10. 1967 -18 Street surfacing n Major Avenue North from Count g Y Road 10 to 57th Avenue, and on 57th Avenue North from Major Avenue to approximately 200 feet west. WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made preliminary reports advis- ing that said proposed improvements are feasible and that they can be constructed at an estimated cost of $6,898.00 and $5,294.00, respectively. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes. 2. A public hearing on the proposed improvementsshall be held at the City Hall in the City on Monday, the 10th day of April, 1967, at 8:30 o'clock P.M., and 8 :50 o'clock P.M., respectively, and the Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publication in the official newspaper of the City. 3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvements is as follows: ALL LOTS AND PARCELS ABUTTING THE ABOVE DESCRIBED STREETS, 4. The proposed improvements shall be designated Sanitary Sewer Lateral Improvement No. 1967 -16 and Street Surfacing Improvement No. 1967 -18. March 27, 1967 Date ayor ATTEST: Cler}.' The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Howard Heck, Gordon Erickson and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
