sideration of proposed Curb Cutter Improvement Project No.
1967 -19,
The Clerk produced an Affidavit of Publication of Notice
of Public Hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks'
publication thereof in the official newspaper, the last publication
being on April 6, 1967, which affidavit was examined and found satis-
factory and ordered placed on file.
The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to
present arguments either for or against the proposed improvement.
After hearing and considering all objections, and the property
owners appearing in favor of said improvement, member Howard Heck
introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 67 -103
RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF CURB CUTTER
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1967 -19
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn
Center, Minnesota, as follows:
1. It is hereby determined that it is necessary and for the
best interests of the City and the owners of property specially
benefitted thereby, that the following improvement shall be con-
structed, based upon a cost allocation of fifty per cent (500) by
the Hennepin County Highway Department and fifty per cent (500) by
the City of Brooklyn Center:
Project No. 1967 -19
Curb Cutter on County Road 10 (58th Avenue North) from
T. H. 152 (Osseo Road) to the west City limits.
2. The plans and specifications for said improvement are
to be prepared by the Hennepin County Highway Department.
The estimated cost is $13,735.83.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen,
John Leary, Gordon Erickson and Howard Heck,
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted._
