resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 67 -111
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARINGS ON PROPOSED
SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1967 -21 AND
WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1967 -22
WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed improve-
ments consisting of the following:
1967 -21 Sanitary Sewer on the west side of Lyndale
Avenue North from 70th Avenue to approximately 235 feet north
of 69th Avenue.
1967 -22 Water Main on the west side of Lyndale Avenue
North from 70th Avenue to 69th Avenue.
WHEREAS, the City engineer has made a preliminary report
advising that said proposed improvements are feasible and that they
can be constructed at an estimated cost of $4,618.00 and $4
respectively.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The council proposes to proceed under authority granted
by Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes.
2. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be held
at the City Hall in the City on Monday, the 24th day of April, 1967,
at 8:30 o'clock P.M., central standard time, and 8:35 o'clock P.M.,
central standard time, respectively, and the Clerk shall publish
notices of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publication
in the official newspaper of the City.
3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement
is as follows:
ALL LOTS AND PARCELS ABUTTING THE ABOVE DESCRIBED STREET
TO BE BENEFITED BY THE IMPROVEMENT.
4. The proposed improvements shall be designated Sanitary
Sewer Improvement Project No. 1967 -21 and Water Main Improvement
Project No. 1967 -22.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Gordon Erickson and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen,
John Leary, Gordon Erickson and Howard Heck,
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
