HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-224 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -224 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING MUNICIPAL STATE AID STREET WHEREAS, it appears to the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center that the street hereinafter described should be designated as a Municipal State-Aid Street under the provisions of Minnesota Laws of 1959, Chapter 500; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center that the following described street, to -wit; Control Section 116, Segment 010 Humboldt Avenue North from 57th Avenue North to 59th Avenue North Be, and hereby is established, located, and designated as a Municipal State -Aid Street of said Village, subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Highways of the State of Minnesota. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Highways for his consideration, and that upon his approval of the designation of said street, that same be constructed, improved, and maintained as a Municipal State -Aid Street of the Village of Brooklyn Center to be numbered and known as described above. August 1, 1966 Date Mayor ATTEST: 4 G404r Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Earl Simons and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, John Leary and Howard Heck, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
